A FAMILY HISTORY

Huilerie CAUVIN’s oil mill, founded in 1951, originally a small family mill, has been able to transmit and develop its know-how for five generations. Thanks to the determination of the families who have made the history of the brand, the company has grown to become an essential player in the market for conventional and organic edible and cosmetic oils. From its production site in the Gard department near Nîmes, the brand is distributed throughout the country and internationally.

As a long-standing partner in the agri-foodindustry and restaurants, Cauvin has establisheditself in a few years as a major player in French large-scale distribution. Thanks to its expertisein sourcing, the oil factory has also been able to develop an activity with non-food manufacturers

such as cosmetics. Distributed throughout the country, the brand has also built an international reputation.

With a new factory built in 2017, Huilerie CAUVINcombines modernity, efficiency, flexibility and safety.

• Storage capacity of more than 1,000 tons of crude oils in thermally protected tanks in order to preserve the physicochemical and organoleptic characteristics of the products.

• A crushing plant allowing the production of 3,000 liters of organic oils per day

• A packaging potential of 15,000 liters/hour on 4 automated lines.

• A state-of-the-art camera control system to check the filling level of the bottles, the caps crimping or the correct positioning of the labels.

• Laser engraving of MDDs (Minimum Durability Dates) and batch numbers on bottles, for better readability and durability.
